Production of renewable energy

Completeness within the Vossen Group was achieved in 2008 when Holmel BV had a modern biodigester installed. At Holmel BV, animal manure flows, from its own companies and with added unusable organic waste from animal fodder and the food industry, is recycled to produce electricity and heat.

Every day, this installation produces enough power to provide approximately 4000 households with green energy. All of the heat produced is used by Holmel's own companies. This allows the company to significantly reduce its CO² emissions.

In order to maintain this level of energy production, we are constantly looking for products that are suitable for biofermentation. These may include products from organic materials, both dry and liquid. If you can offer any of these products, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the possibilities. We are the final destination in the lifecycle of products and can therefore also guarantee that the product will be turned into renewable energy in a responsible fashion.
